Description

BC pumps are volumetric gear pumps suitable for the transfer of lubricating medium/high viscosity liquids that do not contain suspended solids or corrosive substances. They are self-priming pumps used for a wide range of liquids with viscosities ranging from 1 to 20,000 cSt. The rotational speed is selected based on the viscosity of the liquid, and the flow rate ranges from 10 to 400 L/min.

BC pumps from 10 to 400 incorporate an integrated heating chamber in the pump casing.

BC pumps are useful when it is necessary to heat the pumped liquid to prevent it from solidifying. The heating chamber operates through the circulation of diathermic oil, hot water, or saturated steam.

They are available in two different constructions: cast iron with steel shaft and gears, or stainless steel AISI 316 with stainless steel shaft and gears.

BC pumps are foot-mounted with a bare shaft and typically installed on a slide and driven by an electric motor in B3 configuration through an elastic coupling. The entire assembly is referred to as MBMC (motorized slide-mounted BC pump).
